Women in Design – KU Chapter has invited WiD-KC to attend a social and lecture in Marvin Hall on KU’s Campus on October 20th. Barbara Carswell, wife of Architecture Professor Bill Carswell, will be speaking to the group on “Advancing”, particularly what behavior or steps would help one advance in the workforce. Barbara has won the Athena award and frequently lectures to companies and student groups.  Pizza will be served during the social session for the first half hour before the lecture begins.
